With the votives already on the table we were able to enjoy a hot dinner and L's birthday cake unint from Susan B

Without the candles dinner would have been a disaster (the torch was useless) but instead we really enjoyed the extra sparkling candle light.... My tip for all hosts is to have a ready supply of queenb tapers and votive/tea lights for every dinner and in case of emergency! I mean you can warm things with the tea lights too!
