Atelier de Thiers Objects are inspired by the XIIXth and XIXth centuries.

We make and source reproductions and interpretations of vintage & antique, hand made decorative accessories, gifts & furniture.

Beautiful and precious, elegant and whimsical these items are designed to catch your eye and to let your mind wander for a moment.  Playful, fanciful and quirky they serve no real purpose (like many antiques) other than to delight.

I found this vintage wooden cash drawer in Dirty Janes Antique Centre in Bowral soon after I started Queen B 25 years ago.  Remarkably, it's still in daily use... and I'm sure will be in big demand when bitcoin goes paperful.  

It weighs a hefty 17kg's (so that it can't be easily picked up and run off with) and is opened by pushing down on the brass button on the front right which opens the drawer with a lovely pinging noise!

From Google: " The image shows an antique wooden cash register, specifically identified as a Hough's Security Cash Recorder from the late 19th or early 20th century.  This model is made of oak and features a simple, flat-top design with a single cash drawer.  It was invented to prevent employee theft by mechanically recording sales, an innovation at the time. The item in the image is noted to be in very good condition for its age, showing only minor traces of use."

My collection of jointed wooden artist mannequins is founded on a love of art, drawing, timber objects and whimsy. 

I even drilled a hole in the top of another model's head (not one of the 4 in the main image) and inserted one of our turned copper candle holder inserts.  I will throw both the additional 42cm tall mannequin AND the copper holder in, as a gift, for the lucky purchaser.

It was hard to find a comparable to price these models.  The largest one I had trouble finding online at all and a 52cm version removed from its base is $325 here (the largest one I'm selling is 72cm).  So, I've just tried to go with pricing that represents a win/win.

Hand-painted over 25 years ago there are 8 designs in this collection of Picasso plates, painted over the course of 2 years.

Each plate took in excess of 20 hours to hand paint so I have set the price based on the average hourly wage I get from Queen B 😅

From mum & dad's stint living in London in the 1960's comes this Swiss made Culinox Copper Fondue Set.  The pot is copper on outside and stainless steel on inside.  The stand is cast iron.  

Includes all parts of set - pot, lid, stand & burners.

Pot dimensions: 180mm L (+150mm bakelite handle) x 120mm W x 76mm H  

In lovely vintage condition with no standout damage.

Copper is tarnished but can be cleaned very easily using a solution of 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon of salt. 

Vintage Avery Scales.  Made in England.

Assuming they're from the 1950's as they have the green stripe and pink arrow.
