Silver Plate Creamer Jug

I have to be honest, all I know about this is that it is silver and it looks like a cream or milk jug to me (and I don't have time to do more research than this).  I have used it many times as a vase for a single stem of greenery.  I am happy to include the glass jar that fits in it! 

I sincerely hope that it is actually worth a lot of money for the purchaser.  It is from mum and dad's collection of silver that was being got rid of when they downsized about 20 years ago.  I've loved it and now it needs a new home to enjoy it (while Maggie & I enjoy seeing Australia)!
