You know what I absolutely love?... I had no idea what these tins were, I just knew I loved them and they looked (and proved to be) incredibly useful metal storage tins.  They've stored everything from buttons to coins to keys to lighters and they've also just adorned the bookshelves as a little bit of whimsy.

In trying to work out a price, I uploaded an image to Google and found out they are metal tea tins.  Here's what I found out:

The image displays a set of vintage numbered metal tea storage tins with lids.
These items were originally used by tea importation companies to archive tea samples. They are typically English, dating back to around the 1920s.
The lids and sides feature embossed, non-matching three-digit numbers. The tins in the image have numbers "732" and "381" visible on them.
They are considered collectable items and are often sold as decorative pieces.

One of the only things I love almost as much as pure beeswax candles?... tea.  The vast majority of visitors to the hive were offered one.  I feel privileged to make tea for any angels in the hive (multiple times a day) and I literally take my favourite tea away with me (and a decent sized mug)!  No wonder I intuitively loved these.
