Please note- these brass holders are all handmade in Australia and as such are not meant to be 'unnecessarily shiny or blemish free'... exactly like Queen B candles. We value craftsmanship and handmade over and above society's unreasonable obsession with perfection. If you are looking for something shiny and 'perfect' please consider something made overseas by one of our much cheaper neighbouring countries, however, if you would like something of substance, permanence and intrinsic quality that only a handmade product made using finest ingredients in the world like Australian beeswax and solid brass then you'll love this holder.

We designed our peony taper holders for a client having a location wedding with the reception in a gazebo... and they wanted to use tapers. 

Initially horrified at the thought of the dripping caused by the mountain breezes and movement of 120 guests coming in and out of the reception constantly, I set about designing an elegant solution to catch all those precious drips of future bee-created light.

More than just a drip catcher, these beeswax flowers herald the golden hued flame. above.

For months after the wedding our client was able to enjoy the remainder of their taper candles and the peony at the base.
