Stillness - at the core of all of the light we make at Queen B is a desire to send a feeling of calmness and serenity, golden hued moments, memories stripped back of external noise to focus on being in the moment.

The other 3 pillars are:

Foundation - healthy food, clean water, clean air, light, warmth, good relationships… other than the clean water, the pure light of a Queen B candle enhances every one of those.  Groundedness is the foundation for good mental health and taking time - for yourself, for family and with friends - is always enhanced by natural light.

Gateway - the design of this candle (also called Portal in a taller candle) is inspired by ancient architecture and represents the ability to transport your mind to other realms when in a relaxed or meditative state.

Luminescence - this design came about after I’d been mesmerised by the play of external light on a column tiled in pearlescent mosaic tiles and thinking of people I know whose light shines from within

I hope for each of those things for myself, for my friends and family and for the people sent our way in search of pure light.  Each candle in the collection is handmade (ie made with consciousness) with these essences / intentions in mind.  

I have never cared a jot about selling candles.  What has kept me going for 25 years is a desire to make a difference in everything that I do - to our beekeepers, to the regional communities they live in, to our customers’ lives, to our many Australian suppliers, to my local community in Brookvale and so on and on.  In choosing pure light, in choosing Queen B, you've supported that raison d'etre - and I'm deeply grateful for that.  

It has been a profound honour to create Queen B and with this penultimate collection, to leave a brand memory that will never be compromised.  I have made the decision not to sell but rather to close the business with the same uncompromising integrity as I have made every other decision over 25 years.  Whether you’ve been by our side over weeks, months or years I am so grateful for your support.
